SURF AND SAND FIELD HOCKEY
THE TEAM
Surf & Sand Field Hockey offers local athletes the opportunity to practice and compete with a high-level year-round team. Surf & Sand FHC will maintain a weekly practice schedule though out the year. The selected club teams will participate in major USFHA/NFHCA recruiting events, college showcases, as well as outdoor tournaments and leagues. Athletes receive sport specific training education in the college selection process, and the ability to participate in the sport they love.
EVENTS
Surf & Sand's Field Hockey Events were designed to give athletes the opportunity to compete at a high level and gain exposure to college coaches while taking advantage of being close to home at the Jersey Shore!
Our events seek to provide athletes ages 8 - 19 the opportunity to further enhance their field hockey skills, display their talents, and experience great opportunities to compete as individuals or with their preferred team!

SEASON TRAINING
Field Hockey is a sport that requires specific training! It is equal parts technical and tactical and in order to ensure you continue to grow your own game – we encourage our athletes to train with us all year round to stay hockey ready.
However, we realize that hockey isn't the only passion many of you have, and sometimes you need a session off to focus on those other passions. Train with our Select Program for flexibility or train with our Elite Program for year round team training.
EVENTS
Surf & Sand's Field Hockey Events (7v7) was created to give participants the opportunity to become better athletes, compete at a high level while taking advantage of great summer weather in a great summer location. The events seek to provide high school athletes the opportunity to further enhance their field hockey skills with instruction provided ​by coaches and display their talents.

What should a player bring?
Wear cross trainers or turf shoes served. Mouthguards and shin guards are mandatory for play. Players need to supply their own sticks.
